HaneWin LLDP Service Overview
it is used to implement LLDP Agent-based standard for the Link Layer.Features of HaneWin LLDP Service
This program implements an LLDP Agent based on the IEEE 802.1AB standard for the Link Layer Discovery Protocol. The Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) is a protocol for discovering the physical topology in 802 LANs.
It can optionally read and send CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol) packets. Information received in CDP packets is added to the LLDP MIB database of the agent.
Moreover, the LLDP agent is implemented as a service for background operation on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 platforms. A Control Panel applet provides interactive access to the service. The LLDP MIB has been implemented as an SNMP MIB subagent for the Windows SNMP agent.
