IBM CICS Transaction Gateway Overview

This software provides single-user desktop connectivity to CICS applications from various client environments. Client applications can be written in Java™, C, C++, COM, COBOL, or the .NET Framework and communicate with this tool, using either the local TCP/IP stack or interprocess communication.

It does not include Java Connector Architecture (JCA) resource adapter support, and some parameters have restrictions. For more information about the parameter restrictions like Maximum requests, Maximum number of worker threads, Maximum number of connection manager threads, and IPIC send sessions.
